Hello all,

I’ve moved my blog to:

Strayalien.wordpress.com

As it turns out, it isn’t possible to delete wordpress accounts. Ergo, this blog will forever stand in time until the blokes at wordpress seek to delete it. The page will still be here. All its contents will be transfered to the new one and deleted.

best,

The shortest story I ever heard;

- your scape awes me
like a pair of jaws, your broken smile
teeth in the night
- you are this place of passing
a place of phases
one’s dream, another’s nightmare
- like anything praised, from afar you shine
but under our scope, we see your infection
your disease raping you.
- and all I can do is look on helplessly
watch them devour you
all lost in hopelessness
-my greatest love, my nightmare
my poster, my best kept secret
my love despite your prostitution
-faded and worn
centuries of rape
yet you I desire
-torn and poisoned
still handled rough
yet it’s you that I want
-and all that is about you
the opposite is true
you’re the antithesis of yourself
-I miss you and you know not
to you Im just another stranger
another one that takes advantage
-Only through your causing filth
the damage we give you
might you ever know that I adore you
-your cracks and your mold
I long for them
you and all your dust
-you are my adored
everybody else’s whore
-I long to walk you long to scrape you

When America is a thing of the past. The stereotype for an American will be the Rebel. it will be the Little One that challenged the Giant. It will be the Cowboy cleaning up the town from the bandits. It will be the Marine who ain’t afraid to run into heavy fire.

The American will always be the pioneer, the rebel, the cowboy.

The buckaroo.

“One of the most difficult things to overcome in life is the acceptance that there will always be; another song to listen to, another step to walk, another sunset to see, another painting to admire, another verse to write, another set of eyes to stare into, another chat to have. There will always be one more hug, one more drink, one more tear, one more laugh, and one more smile…” – the stranger

Health Contradiction

•28, March 2010 • Leave a Comment

Just a few nights ago I found myself face to face with one cop and five city health officials who were citing both the business and customers for smoking hookah. Let this be known that this took place at a hookah lounge. Due to complaints about smoke, they showed up to cite.

Who complains about smoke at a shisha lounge? Who would complain about alcohol at a bar? I understand that they’d cite us, the business, despite their citing being a direct infridgment on the agreement we had with the city as our court date planed. But let’s be rational now, citing customers for smoking what we served them? Does that make sense?

Then a day or so later I found myself starring at a Chelupa at Taco Bell. I heard just a few days prior from a reliable source that their beef is just as bad as McDonald’s.

It seems that there is a definite health Contradiction. One the one hand we have moved smoking out as best we could. Two notable towns that have taken this drastic initiative include Pasadena CA, and Fayetteville AR. On the other hand, our food quality is still going down the toilet. Even what we perceive to be ‘healthy’ isn’t. Fruits are applied with chemicals to make them taste bolder and appear brighter.

How about a little consistency?

In short…

A recent video posted by Techdirt investigated Reznor’s success as a free agent that has released his work for free.

The video can be found here;

but in short, the thing that separates Reznor from Corgan, and shows the difference in their feedback from fans and their overall success is this:

Reznor isn’t afraid to break the barrier and connect with his fans in a positive way. That is what it comes down to;

connect with your fans.

Fired Up…finally.
